Angelina Iosifidou is married and has two children, Achilleas and Fenareti. She was born in 1990 in Stavroupoli, Russia to Greek parents and came to Greece with her family at the age of 9. Since her teenage years she has shown a keen interest in onychoplasty and painting, but the circumstances (school and afternoon work) do not allow her to do these even as a hobby.
Angelina proves with her career that a strong vision and your persistence to achieve it, overcome any talent you may have!
At the end of high school she starts working full time and at the same time she studies nursing in a public IEK. However, a degree in nursing and the prospect of a “secure and stable” job in the health sector are not enough to keep her from her dream.
In September 2011, at the age of 21 and now financially independent, she decides to do what she always wanted to do. She decides, secretly from family and friends for fear of being mislabeled as “the one who gave up nursing to become a ‘night owl'”, to enroll in a school of Onychoplastics.
In March 2011 she graduates with Honours and begins her professional career, taking steps in a structured and steady manner. From the very beginning she puts all her weight, investing money and time, into her training. All her earnings from her services are invested, with sacrifice and deprivation, in seminars. Her vision is beginning to emerge. Her work is starting to stand out as her trainings, combined with her long hours of daily practice, are paying off.
She focuses on Nail Art and Nail Design trainings. From the very beginning, she puts a lot of emphasis on Manicure techniques. Specialized in Gel and Acrylic application techniques. She travels abroad and never misses a single opportunity to be trained by internationally renowned trainers from Russia and Ukraine. A never-ending journey into the wonderful world of Education has begun and the road ahead looks very difficult! Her persistence and passion to make anything related to the subject her own outweigh any talent.
In August 2016, despite all the difficulties due to heavy family responsibilities and the general economic crisis, she manages to raise money from her job and open her own Nail Salon in the center of Kifissia, thus completing the most difficult -and seemingly impossible until then- step for her development. A lovely, warm and welcoming space with its own touch, which also functions as an Educational Centre.
Since October 2016 she organizes and delivers Nail Art & Design seminars and Manicure, Gel and Acrylic techniques in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion. She works with leading names abroad and mainly with renowned instructors from major schools in Russia and Ukraine, from which she introduces new techniques in Greece. Her personal education never stops. The search for and learning of new techniques has become an end in itself. As she herself admits, she has become obsessed with education.
In December 2016, she realizes that service delivery has become a burden to the fulfillment of her vision, so she pauses service delivery to focus solely on her training and development. The break in service also marked a major change in her career. It is now obsessed with developing new techniques and technologies. Techniques that she develops herself with a lot of effort and endless sacrifices on a personal and family level. Her vision is beginning to be completed. He begins to deliver seminars in Athens, Thessaloniki and in several cities of mainland and island Greece.
In September 2017, it expands its activities to Thessaloniki, inaugurating its new seminar venue in the city centre.
In November 2017 he teaches for the first time in Greece a pioneering technique of applying Gel without filing. A technique that she developed and applied alone and exclusively in Greece at that time.
In January 2018 “UNIQUE” company enters into an agreement as importer and exclusive representative in Greece and Cyprus of TRENDY NAILS COSMETICS™.
In May 2018, another of her big dreams is taking shape. Her new school in the centre of Athens is a fact. A magnificent and imposing Neoclassical and Conservation building of 460 sq.m. of 1890, fully renovated and ultra-modern, houses her vision. Huge horizons are now opening up in her career and recognition is coming from all sides.
In December 2019, “UNIQUE” becomes the exclusive importer and representative of TRENDY NAILS COSMETICS™ in Europe and America.
In January 2019, new products of its own production from America and Germany are launched in the market under the Brand UNIQUE Cosmetics®.The rest of the products imported by the company come from Germany and Russia, always tested with strict criteria and selected exclusively for their quality.
